While the light is of good quality and the mounting system is simple to use, its automatic features are limited. Specifically, the motion-activated on/off and daylight-sensing functions only operate in flashing modes. This poses a problem for European cyclists since flashing modes are prohibited in many EU countries. In continuous mode, the light stays on constantly, even when there's no movement or in bright daylight, requiring manual operation. Furthermore, the light always defaults to flashing mode upon activation, instead of retaining the previously used setting.
